you know, there has been speculation in the past that these really aren't 'randomly' posted - but after seing many mornings, and now evenings, i have come to realize that it makes so much sense that the photos often closely resemble eachother...i think if we all took a photo every evening we would see how much our lives have in common, that we often share similar thoughts and feelings, and have the same routines. thanks for the inspiring thoughts once again ladies!

As an avid English viewer of your beautiful blog, living near the Norfolk Broads, I was amused to see that Swallows and Amazons is read in Oregon. Beautiful as usual!

Steph, I am so thrilled to have had a reply. Yes, you would take wonderful photos in Norfolk - the skies are probably the best bit. It's not as unspoiled as it was in Arthur Ransome's day but it can be still be peaceful. I will try and see it through your eyes tomorrow as we travel through Broadland. Thank you so much both of you for sharing your lovely photos.

The perfect little set for LEAP YEAR!I like the contrast of the clean white with the vibrant blues and orange. Daylight savings is coming, your evenings shall be brighter!!!

Arthur Ransome is a favorite of this storyteller. Neat to see this old book in current use.

All shinning things are not gold things, do you know this sentence? I don't know exactly how to translate : "tout ce qui brille n'est pas or!!"
