Wow, for some reason when I saw these two images my breath was taken away for a moment. That ice is really beautiful. And the daphnies....don't they smell heavenly now?

linear yet something delicate hands from each "stem" ... there is an emphemeral nature to each: the purple gauzy background mirrors the lacelike leaf. A favorite of mine for sure.

This pairing is amazing. They are almost exactly mirror images.
They tell more than one story:
Where are the tree's leaves? The child has them.
It looks like the tree is reaching for them.
Did the child steal them, and make the tree cry?
Is the child giving the leaves to the tree to make it feel better?
Is the child Spring bringing leaves and flowers to the tree after a long winter?
Did the tree turn into the child?
They tell more than one story:
