I never see a white paint can and brush without thinking of images of Huckelberry Finn whitewashing the fence--and getting others to do it for him, while he took their treats. Paint (and literature) is that magic rich. White, ah.

These are always so beautiful. As we celebrate advent, I am thinking that these will soon be over! I will miss them.

i was wondering what you will both feel like when this year is over, and you get to have this totally different relationship with your mornings again. kind of like growing and birthing a baby, maybe. i bet that will feel nice for both of you, even though you've given us all this magical gift this year.
