this is the final diptych in our year-long evenings journey; thank you for joining us along the way. we also want to take this chance to thank you for your enthusiasm about our book, A Year of Mornings: 3191 Miles Apart. the book has gone into a second printing and will be available again more readily in mid-february. our plans for a printed version of A Year of Evenings are in work ... it is a project which we are happily taking on ourselves so please look for something small and special for your bookshelves this spring or summer.
we will be back in this space with our new project, 3191 Miles Apart, starting on friday, february 13th. we hope you will tune back in then.

'3191, a year of evenings' will be back on january 5, 2009 with several more posts to complete our year-long (1/15/08–1/15/09) project. thank you so much for taking this long journey with us.
we are excited to tell you that once 'a year of evenings' comes to a close, we will be starting a new collaborative online project in early february, 2009. in our new space we will share weekly tidbits about simple living, inspiration, food, etc, not to mention keeping the spirit of 3191 alive with more diptychs. please keep your eye on this space for more information and we will see you on monday evening as we start to bring our year of evenings to a close.
